Lynn Kee
Lynn Kee is a survivor of childhood sexual trauma, advocate and activist working to strengthen protections for fellow survivors in memory of her sister, Amanda Hernandez, who passed away in January after a long and hard-fought battle with C-PTSD and Substance Abuse.
As a woman in long-term recovery, herself, she is committed to sharing her own experiences, strength and hope in an effort to spread the message that TRAUMA IS THE TRUE GATEWAY DRUG and increase access to adequate trauma, mental health and substance abuse treatment in her home state of MA and beyond.
A firm believer that getting the right treatment can mean the difference between life and death for many survivors (her sister included), she credits her recovery, in large part, to the trauma work she's personally done both in and outside of therapy since childhood.
